Sea Snake versus the Stonefish

Sea Snakes are venomous but can it's aggressiveness win against the power of the Stonefish?

Australian diver Rick Trippe was diving on a World War II wreck in Darwin Harbour when he saw the extreme battle between the two poisonous animals underwater.

Knowing that both species are poisonous, the spearfishing champion decided to grab the snake at the back and pull it out of the water to have a selfie. According to his interview in BBC:
I could hear the fish croaking so I let them both go, but the snake made a beeline back to the fish...

The snake might win the battle but it may have died hours after the encounter because of the venom that the Stonefish excretes from its spines.

Just 3 drops of the poison of the Beaded Sea Snake can kill 8 person, but they are unlikely to bite unless threatened. While a Stonefish venom can kill a human in 2 hours if not treated.
