Final Fantasy VII's Remake launched its trailer, the game is developed and published by Square Enix, from the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

Square Enix is a Japanese video game developer, publisher and distribution company that is best known for its role-playing video games, which include the Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts role-playing game series. The remake was officially announced by Square Enix at E3 2015 on June 15, 2015 for the PlayStation 4.
