Curfew violators, binigay ang gusto, pinatambay magdamag

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte placed the entire mainland of Luzon under an "Enhanced Community Quarantine" on March 16, 2020 to contain the spread of the growing pandemic of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

The ECQ restricts the movement of the population and temporary closure of non-essential shops, businesses and schools. The Department of Health directs the Filipinos to practice "social distancing" and staying at home. And curfew has been implemented in every local government units in the country.

Cavite curfew violators, detained in a basketball court

In a Facebook post, in General Trias, Cavite, the Barangay Officials caught some of their constituents violating the "curfew". The violators were brought to the basketball court in front of the "Pamahalaang Bayan" building.

According to the post,

Binigay ang hilig. Curfew violators sa Gen Trias magdamag pinatambay.

The detained constituents are following the "social distancing" protocol while sitting on the side of the court.
