Marlin pulled Fisherman's boat easily

According to the American Littoral Society,
tagging or marking animals has long been an accepted biological method for monitoring wildlife; birds are banded on their legs, black bears and grizzly bears carry radio transmitters, as do sea turtles. Tagging is even more important for fishes because, unlike other animals, they spend almost their entire lives out of the sight of the researchers trying to learn about them.

In the video below, Matt Watson sets out in a kayak in Waihau Bay, New Zealand to tag a marlin then release it. A marlin, according to Wikipedia, is a fish with an elongated body, a spear-like snout or bill, and a long, rigid dorsal fin which extends forward to form a crest.

The marlin he caught had a lot of spunk, and for a while it seemed like the marlin was pulling him and his kayak forward like a dog pulling a sled.

The giant fish pointed its sharp mouth onto the fisher's kayak.

But in the end, Watson was successful in tagging the marlin and releasing it back to the sea.
