Madonna sings 'Crazy for You' for the Filipinos, a tribute to People Power Revolution

The Queen of Pop finally held her long-awaited two-day concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last February 24 to 25 as part of her Rebel Heart tour, which was reported to be one of the most expensive concerts to be held in Manila.

But Madonna made her concert doubly special as, after all, the second one was held on February 25 - otherwise known as the 30th anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution.

30 years ago, today, something very important happened here in the Philippines. You fought for your freedom. Am I correct?
Madonna then proceeded singing "Crazy for You," a Billboard chart-topping single released in 1984 and released as pary of Madonna's 3rd studio album, True Blue (1986).

The song was dear to Filipinos as it is, after all, a karaoke favorite. Madonna further said, "Just for you! First time in the Philippines. And the first time that I have sung that song onstage in 30 years. That's crazy, right?"

Filipino fans were delighted as they sang along and raised their phones up high, lighting up the Arena and truly making the night a memorable one for everyone.
