Filipino boy effortlessly "whistles" Mariah Carey's song
Mariah Carey is an American singer famed for her five-octave vocal range, power, melismatic style and signature use of the whistle register. "Emotions" (1991) is one of her songs which flaunted her upper range and extensive use of the whistle register.

And since Filipinos are known for having great talent especially when it comes to singing, it is undoubtedly an achievement to be able to sing that Mariah Carey song. Meet Roel Manlangit, a young boy who you wouldn't think at first glance would be able to amazingly sing "Emotions".
In a busy mall somewhere, Roel was recorded singing "Emotions" through karaoke. Never mind the streams of people, Roel was singing his heart and throat out as he belted the challenging Mariah Carey song. And he did so with such amazing talent that you could see the people stopping and maybe wondering if the voice was really coming from the boy in a yellow shirt holding the microphone.
