Twitter Philippines releases their list of "most followed" Filipino Celebrities for the first half of the year.

Actor, model, singer and dancer Ronnie Alonte is on the fifth slot for the Male Category meanwhile for the Female counterpart is Pinoy Big Brother's "Talented Darling ng Parañaque", Loisa Andalio.

Vice Ganda and Maine Mendoza were named most talked about male and female celebrities for the 1st half of 2018.

Kapamilya and Kapuso stars are tied in the latest Twitter release of most talked about celebrities for the 1st half of 2018.

ABS-CBN's top comedian Vice Ganda again topped the list of most talked about male celebrities for the 1st half of 2018 according to the latest release from Twitter Philippines.

Vice Ganda which also holds the top rank for the 1st quarter proved to be still the most relevant male celebrity in Twitterverse.

Meanwhile, Kapuso's Maine Mendoza topped the female category. The KalyeSerye star and one half of the AlDub loveteam also remained on top as the most talked about female celebrity for the 1st half of 2018.

Although the AlDub phenomenon has mellowed down, Maine continues to be relevant and significant in social media especially with her sensible comments and statements on several socio-political issues which made her more endearing to netizens.
