Snake bites its own body after being beheaded

Have you seen a real live snake that attacks its enemy? Scary isn't it? How about a beheaded snake that attacks its own body?

In Huntsville, Alabama, a rare footage of a decapitated snake biting its tail was recorded.

According to the video, the head of a copperhead snake, cut off from its body, manages to attack and bite its own tail. The poisonous reptile's reflexes might have caused its head to attack hours after their beheading.

There are reports in other countries, wherein some snakes like the Cobra was considered as delicacies, a chef died after being bitten by the serpent's head while preparing a dish.

So next time you encounter a snake and killed it, kindly consider not to touch its head or go near it.
