Karen Davila's interview with Manny Pacquiao about Same Sex Marriage went viral

Manny Pacquiao, known politician who often uses bible verses in everything that he does or says and someone who doesn't feel embarrassed to express his faith, was given an opportunity to clarify and answer questions that concerns the LGBT, same sex marriage and other several issues by the renowned news anchor and journalist, Karen Davila in DZMM’s radio program Pasada sa Sais Trenta.

Karen Davial asked Manny Pacquiao in their 25 minute interview if he have ever heard about the phrase "separation of Church and State".

Manny Pacquiao boldly answered back that, indeed, he heard of it. But he believes that it is impossible for a nation to be successful without the guidance of the Lord. Karen Davila didn'’t stop there. Another question from her which she didn't hesitate to ask Saranggani Representative Pacquiao, who is also a pastor, whether he is fit to be a senator when we are already in the 21st Century.

According to Manny Pacquiao, the government has a lot of problems. The only solution to corruption in the country is to have godly leaders. He believes that if leaders of the country become godly, they will have the fear of the Lord not to steal money.

Lastly, Karen Davila asked whether it is Pacquiao's role to judge. Manny Pacquaio said that who is him to judge people. He admitted that he is also sinful but he is telling the truth. He said that he is just following what is written in the Bible and he must obey the word of God.

Aside from Manny's answers, Karen's line of question also left an impact on the listeners which resulted to both praises and critics from Netizens. This led her to post a tweet after the interview saying,

When interviewing candidates, it is never personal but we must make an effort to personally understand how they think, what they believe in.
