Yes, you read that right. Researchers at Southamton University in the United Kingdom have developed the technique of storing 360 terabytes of data digitally using laser light on one sliver of nanostructured quartz.

According to an article written by Sarah Marquart, "the technique uses femtosecond laser pulses to write data in the 3D structure of quartz at the nanoscale. The pulses create three layers of nanostructred dots, each just microns above the other."

Currently, they have written a series of major works on the small glass discs, namely The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Newton's Opticks, The Magna Carta, and The King James Bible.

With this technology, we could store data safely for 14 billion years or forever if you will. After all, the Earth is only 4.534 billion years old while the Universe is 13.82 billion years old.
