"Separate Ways (World Apart)" is a song by American rock band Journey released in 1983. It was a popular song when it was released as it even reached #1 in the Top Charts for four weeks.

It's a song that has proven the test of time as even up to now, the song is popular to the masses. In fact, it was even used to a recent Disney film, "Tron: Legacy" (2010). The song has been covered multiple times by different artists and, of course, our very own Miss Regine Velasquez-Alcasid did us the honor of covering the song during one episode of the now defunct Sunday music variety show Party Pilipinas.

She is widely known as the Asia's Songbird, possessing an extensive vocal range and is hailed to be the Philippine's Best-Selling Artist of All Time by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI). According to reports, Miss Regine was even sick at the time but she was still able to deliver the highest version of the Journey song.
