It was a disease that Britain's Got Talent star Aliki Chrysochou suffered from. Aliki was studying for her music degree at Sheffield University when her illness first hit and which left her temporarily unable to speak, read, write or walk.

During her audition in the said show, she emotionally revealed to the judges how her mother took care of her during that trying time of her life, and how she had learned "fight through different circumstances" she had gone through in her life.

The video also contained an interview of Aliki's mother, wherein she relayed what they had gone through during the height of Aliki's illness.

After which she sang her own beautiful rendition of Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" wherein the judges praised her, with Simon Cowell telling her she had "natural talent" when it came to music and that "there's something about your energy Aliki which is just incredible".

She eventually garnered four YESes as all four judges loved this blonde stunner's audition.
