Twerking or booty shaking became more popular after Miley Cyrus danced it while performing with Robin Thicke on the MTV Video Music Awards 2013.

Twerk is a type of dance in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.

Twerk It Like Selphie

On this video by Bubble Gang, Selphie Moran, a social media addict lady tried to record a video of herself while twerking. Unfortunately her mom caught her and started to nag her with words of wisdom.

According to her Mother, Donya Yna Moran, Selphie should stop twerking because it's not amusing. She also pointed out that when doing a booty shake, one should have a talent and a booty, which Selphie doesn't have. If Selphie continues to twerk, Donya Yna threatened to hit her daughter with a Wrecking Ball.

But of course, after nagging her one and only child, Donya Yna always say her iconic "Love You!".

Twerk It Like Miley

Styled as #TwerkItLikeMiley, is a 2014 song by Brandon Beal featuring Christopher Nissen. The song title refers to Miley Cyrus' twerking incident. After almost a year, the song resurfaced and became a popular dance song in the Philippines, and later on became a dance contest on Eat Bulaga! entitled "That's My Bae, Twerk It Like Miley Dance Contest".
