2015 Metro Manila Film Festival Controversies
This year's film festival drew too much attention from the netizens and loyal movie goers. Some members of the ALDUB Nation, a fan base of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza claimed that they bought tickets for My Bebe Love, but when they checked the details written on the tickets, they were given a ticket for Beauty and the Bestie.Another controversy that gained attention in social media is the disqualification of Honor Thy Father for the Best Picture category, many fans and movie goers got disappointed with the news and defended the good quality of the said movie.
After the 2nd screening day, some movies got pulled out from the cinemas to give way for the high demands of My Bebe Love and Beauty and the Bestie.
