Although as of now, the Pambansang Bae and the Dubsmash Queen are only close friends and a love team, there's hope yet for that day to happen. After all, if you can remember during one interview Alden had during the promotion of their Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) movie, he was asked whether if it was possible for him and Maine to become a real couple. His immediate answer was, "Of course!" and reasoned it with since they were both single, "the possibility is very open."
Besides, Maine already said (also in an interview) that all Alden had to do was ask permission from her parents to court her!
But, although this wish hasn't happened yet, let's just watch them in the video below as they dubsmash Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" and hope against all odds that their courtship turn real soon!
