20-year-old American Tourist, a new victim of "Laglag Bala" Modus Operandi?

A viral video from 24 Oras which aired last September 23, 2015, has been circulating the Social Media because of its alarming news. A 20-year-old man was allegedly victimized by a new modus operandi on the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The new mode of the bad guys, they will allegedly put a bullet into a tourist's baggage and they will set them up and ask money in exchange of their freedom.

Lane Michael White, a US Citizan was allegedly caught carrying a bullet inside his baggage on their way to Palawan last September 12, 2015.

According to Iloisa Zoleta White, the stepmom of the victim:

Kung dala po namin 'yun, paano po dumaan ng Jacksonville Airport, which is a Military Airport. Sobrang higpit po, September 12 pa kami lumipad.

According to Ms. Susan Enriquez, the Office of Transportation Security asked Mr. White to give them P30,000.00 in exchange of his freedom. But White doesn't want to pay so they decided to put him inside the PNP Aviation Custodian of NAIA Terminal 1 for six days and five nights.
