Officers were caught on CCTV doing something inside the elevator and it went viral

But what it captured something epic instead.

Deputy Tony Scherb, a retiring Colorado sheriff's deputy was recorded dancing to American rapper Silento's Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). He was soon joined in dancing to the song by other colleagues, identified in the video as Deputy Murphy, Deputy Reed, and Sheriff Bill Elder.

The video was posted by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office to its Facebook page on Jan. 29 and has more than seven million views and more than 76 thousand likes.

According to KTLA 5 Morning News, Scherb was retiring from the department after a 29 year career.

"We knew that Deputy Scherb would leave behind a legacy hard to forget... but this, is amazing!" the Sheriff's Office said in a separate post on its Facebook page.
