The Nobel Peace Prize Concert has been held annually since 1994 on December 11 to honour the Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

The award ceremony on the 10th of December takes place in Oslo City Hall, while the concert has been held at Oslo Spektrum, with the attendance of the laureate and other prominent guests.

Last 2014, the Nobel Peace Prize winners were Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi, who were awarded jointly "for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.”

One of the performances during the 2014 concert was Nuno Bettencourt, the lead guitarist of the Boston rock band Extreme, with American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band, Aerosmith, Steven Tyler singing “More than Words”. The song was a ballad written and originally performed by Extreme.
