Animals that can continue to live without their heads

But these real life animals can.

The video listed not one, not two, but ten actual animals that can survive a period of time without their heads.

One of the animals is cockroaches. This didn't really came as a surprise since these little buggers could survive the soles of your slippers and even nuclear bombings.

According to the video, cockroaches' blood doesn't circulate all that quickly, hence they have ample time to seal off the wound before excessive vital fluid loss occurs. They also don't require the use of the brains in their heads, as they have back-up systems.

Another animal is chickens, with the longest record for a headless chicken running around alive is a year and a half. Also in the list is snakes. You would think that the best possible course of action to kill off a snake attacking you is chopping its head off, but think again as their heads are capable of moving around for an hour after they’re chopped off. In fact, the snake’s head is still capable of delivering a fatal blow after it is chopped off from its body.
