Girl throws Tortoise into the pond, and it can't swim

Doing a simple act of kindness to everyone including animals only shows that there's good in everyone of us.

But what if despite of all your efforts of trying to help someone or save something, you brought the person or the animal in danger. Just like this story of a Snapchat user who tried to help but she got negative feedback from the internet.

A girl "saves" a tortoise by throwing it into the water, not knowing that it can't swim

According to the video description:

This is a Gopher Tortoise and Tortoises cannot swim. Tortoises are terrestrial, which means that they live on land. Unlike aquatic turtles, tortoises lack webbed feet. Should a tortoise by accident fall into a pond or swimming pool it could sink to the bottom like a rock and drown, if it cannot get out.

This species of tortoise can hold it's breath for approximately 20 minutes.
