Here's a procedure on how to reduce a dislocated jaw

A dislocation is when two bones that originally met at the joint detach. In this patient's case, it's the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) found in the jawline.

According to MedScape,
TMJ dislocation is due to either trauma (force against a partially opened mandible) or, more commonly, excessive opening of the mandible (such as may occur during yawning and dental procedures). Other mechanisms include passionate kissing, eating, yelling, singing, endoscopy, and intubation.
However, in the video, we found out that the dislocation was due to the young man's seizures as, although it wasn't said, we suspect that the boy might be suffering from epilepsy.

The doctor and the nurses proceeded injecting him with propofol, an anesthetic used to put people to sleep before surgery. After that, they placed some gauze inside his open mouth and then the surgeon placed his thumbs over the molar teeth of the patient and pushed the dislocated jaw downward and backward. This technique is used to reduce the TMJ dislocation and to relieve the discomfort.
