Rabbit with horns growing on its face, spotted by a Youtuber
Is this the World's Scariest Rabbit?
Rabbits are known for being the fluffy, adorable animals that they are. Ask someone to think of a word to describe them and we're pretty sure the word 'cute' will pop up.But maybe not to one Redditor (what a user of the entertainment, social news networking site Reddit is called). In a viral post in the said site, he said he was outside when he spotted a rabbit with horns sprouting all over its face. It scared his so much that he went running at the sight of it.

However, it was soon found out that the rabbit was, in fact, suffering from a disease called cottontail rabbit papilloma virus (CRPV), or Shope papilloma virus. According to PetMD, it "is a viral disease that causes malignant tumors to grow in rabbits, often on its head."
But thankfully the guy in the video didn't run away. In it, he relayed took a video of the diseased rabbit, even naming it Frankenstein. The guy, whose YouTube username was Gunnar Boettcher, was taking a video of the rabbit as he narrated along in an attempt to make the video sound as if it was an episode of the late 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin's show.

He found out that the horns could get so large that it could interfere with the rabbit's eating habits, which in turn could lead to it starving to death. He also said in his post that he knew, of course, that the rabbit was diseased and that he has done research on it, stating that "attempting to trap Frankenstein and "save" him can traumatize a rabbit so much that they can die from that also."
