Whirlpool devours large piece of wood, enormous chunk of ice and everything around it
According to Wikipedia...
A whirlpool is a body of swirling water formed when two opposing, fast-flowing currents meet. It also stated that the vast majority of whirlpools are not very powerful as more powerful ones could be found in seas or oceans and are called maelstroms.
The water started to produce a circular movement. |
But this whirlpool in what looked like a lake would like to differ. It may have started small, sucking in tiny ice sheets but it surely proved that it had more sucking power than that. By 0:52 seconds, you could see that it was now affecting the ice from a distance as the current is slowly dragging the huge sheet of ice closer.
A huge chunk of ice being dragged into the center of the whirlpool. |
By 2:20, the whirlpool devours a large piece of wood or road surface as the spectators were, after all, standing on the road beside it. It then ate up large sheets of ice and you could even see it struggle to eat something that big. However, the prize is yet to come as, finally, an enormous chunk of ice finally arrived for it to swallow. The ice would soon break off into tinier pieces to be devoured by the whirlpool.
